Society members and friends...
We are
getting close to

Halewai Pavilion, downtown Kailua-Kona on Ali'i
Drive.

* All Festival information is now posted on our site,
www.hawaiigourdsociety.com . The American Gourd Society
also set up a nice site, www.ipushow.com , there is some
travel information there for mainland guests.
* GREEN GOURDS are needed for the Festival classes...the
stem should be brown, perfection is not necessary...Please
let us know if you may have any available. HGS will
purchase use-able green gourds. If you have any, even
one would
be helpful, call 808 937-4308 , or e-mail me as soon
as possible.

* FOOD VENDORS are welcome. We welcome any food vendors
and would like to hear from them...refer any calls
to me, 808 937-4308. Mahalo for your help.
* A BAKE SALE table will be set up to raise funds
for HGS. You may contribute your ready to sell
baked goods
by dropping them off at Evie's Natural Foods in
Kealakekua (79-7604 Mamalahoa Hwy Mango Court building)
on Thursday
6-14-07 or Fri. 6-15-07...or, you may bring them
to the Festival no later than 9 AM Sat. 6-16. Any
questions
or Bake Sale table volunteers, please contact me.

* Musicians and Hula dancers, please call and join
the fun!! Musicians call Evie 808 937-6211 Dancers,
please
call either Mary, 937-4308 or Evie, 937-6211.
* REMINDER, dinner and entertainment on Sat.
evening will be a lot of fun...please plan
to join us.
You are welcome to stay even if you are not
into the
Organic Buffet Dinner catered by Evie's Natural
Foods ($20
per
person, reservation will be needed for food)...see
the web-site for details. We hope you will
plan to join us.
* We will have a pre-show POT-LUCK at Evie's
Ipu Farm on Thursday , 6-14-07, about 5:30-6
PM...until
we say
goodnight. Everyone is invited. Evie's Ipu
Farm is located on the City of Refuge Rd.
(Hwy 160)
...first
and second
drives on left past Rodeo grounds...we will
be obvious.
If you are expecting a snail mail, this Newsletter replaces
it. The Program is now posted on our site and hopefully
complete. If there are other questions, feel free o contact
